Spectacularly positioned, Qorokwe Camp blends seamlessly into this vast, wildlife-rich corner of the Delta. Qorokwe’s private wilderness area borders the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, famous for intense predator-prey encounters. Prepare for thrilling game drives tracking leopards in the wild. Spot a lioness hunting alone, closely watched by a pack of skulking hyenas, as the air vibrates with birdsong.
Qorokwe Camp has eight rooms with tented suites and indoor showers. In addition, its extra-spacious family unit has its own splash pool. The wonderful open dining and lounge area and bar are set on a raised deck, connected to the suites by walkways.
Qorokwe supports the local community who grow delicious, fresh produce, and plan the menu according to what’s in season. Home-grown, health-packed sorghum, millet and other local flavours are incorporated into the authentic plant- and meat based recipes. The pizza oven is a favourite with children (big and small).
Wait with bated breath as a lioness with razor-sharp focus stalks her prey. Glide gently through the winding channels watching elephants drinking in the distance, en route to a surprise 'Champagne' stop. At night, sharpen your senses on a game drive, then dine al fresco under a canopy of stars.
