ITINERARY

Day 1 - 3

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls is one of the world’s most impressive waterfalls. It is set on the magnificent Zambezi River which creates the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Activities included:

- Tour of the Falls experience including a guided walking Tour of the Falls

- Safari activities including game drives & safari walks, a sunrise or sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River, Birdwatching & Amateur fishing

Day 3 - 6

 Linyanti Concession, Botswana

Situated in Northern Botswana bordering the Chobe National Park, the Linyanti Concessions stretch across the Kwando-Linyanti river system. They are known for their exotic animal species and luxury safari options. An abundance of wildlife roams freely between the woodland habitats, ancient floodplains and forests that make up these lush, unfenced reserves.

Activities included:

- Explore the wilderness on twice daily game drives, and encounter the rich wildlife of the Linyanti. Witnessing fascinating predator interactions, and large elephant herds.

- Experience the thrill of a night drive using spotlights to find some of the most amazing, elusive nocturnal animals.

- Walk in the wild with skilled, armed guides is a wonderful way of being closer to nature. Observe the smaller creatures that you may miss when travelling by vehicle.

- Explore the Linyanti River by barge. Glide past sleeping hippos, or find crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks of the lagoon. Fishing on a catch and release base is also available.

Day 6 - 9

 Okavango Delta, Botswana

Situated in the northwestern corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site as it is the largest inland delta in the world. The magnificent Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing waterlogged oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife.

Activities included:

-Explore the wilderness on game drives. Concentrations of larger predators may include lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyaena, and African wild dog. While various plains species typically seen are herds of giraffe, zebra, red lechwe and gnarled buffalo bulls.

- Take a delightful picnic and explore on a full day excursion to the spectacular and productive area of Gomoti Plains.

- A walking safari offers you the exciting opportunity of coming across big game on foot.

- There is no better way of viewing the Delta and its wildlife than by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe). Float along a crystal-clear waterway as you search for painted reed frogs, and beautiful waterlilies.

Day 9 - 12

 Okavango Delta, Botswana

A flight transfer will take you to Jao Camp. The flight is wonderful as you'll be flying over the Okavango Delta and seeing the Delta laid out below you from a bird's eye view.

Activities included:

- Scan the bushveld during an evening drive for magical nocturnal mammals such as civets, genets, bushbabies, and owls.

- Seasonal boating excursions allow you to explore the more distant waterways, and the deep clear channels.

- Excellent birdlife viewing which varies throughout the year, depending on water levels and season
