Set in a small, sheltered bay on Corfu's southeast coast, with mountains rising behind and the Ionian Sea in front, Avali is the newest addition to the Mar-Bella Collection - a boutique, laid-back beachfront retreat named for its intimate cove setting. It's pitched between adults-only escape and family charm, welcoming couples, friends and families with children aged six and over, with a private beach and lush gardens setting the tone.
The hotel's 76 rooms and suites include 18 suites in total, spanning Standard and Deluxe Double Rooms (some with private lap pools), Rooftop Doubles and Rooftop Junior Suites with sea and mountain views, and Panorama Suites with private pools and sea views - each finished in calming tones with bay-facing balconies, smart TVs, Nespresso machines and organic bath products.
Dining is led by Zardini, an all-day restaurant showcasing Corfiot produce through a Mediterranean menu with Asian influences, joined by Stià Grill for coal-fired, regionally sourced meat and fish, and a casual beachside food truck for lighter bites. Cicada Pool Bar and the Lobby Bar cover cocktails and wine, while a "Greek Chefs Abroad" series brings in guest chefs for standout fine-dining evenings.
Facilities include a freshwater infinity pool with cabanas, a beachfront spa cabin for massages, facials and body scrubs, an outdoor yoga deck and fitness area, and watersports from kayaking to paddleboarding and snorkelling. Guided hikes, meditation sessions, cooking classes and wine tastings round out the experience, alongside private yacht charters and sea taxi services - with guests also able to draw on the facilities of sister properties MarBella and Nido nearby.
