Bamurru Plains

Bamurru Plains provides an exclusive wildlife experience on the magnificent Mary River floodplains on the western boundary of Kakadu National Park.

Located on Swim Creek Station, the safari-style bungalow suites are set amidst the savannah woodland, teeming with wildlife, reptiles and birds. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, without the usual modcons of contemporary living, drawing your focus to the surrounding wilderness for a luxurious, secluded getaway.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush in the dining area serving local produce and offering commanding views across the vast wetlands.

Activities are plentiful; Jump on an airboat complete with fitted casting deck and explore the Swim Creek floodplain for the perfect catch, take a tour of the Mary River floodplains on a morning tour to see thousands of local birdlife species or spot crocodiles on a cruise of the Sampan River.
