The Silo
This unique Cape Town luxury hotel is a magical space towering above the V&A Waterfront.
Its structure has reimagined the grain elevator portion of the historic silo complex and the exterior now has pillowed glazing panels, which bulge outward as if gently inflated. By night, this transforms the building into a glowing lantern in the harbour.
Accommodation comprises 28 rooms, including a spectacular penthouse. Each room is individually designed and decorated with eclectic decor. The rooms are more spacious vertically than horizontally due to the unique architecture of The Silo and the ingenious design of the pillowed window bays.
At the hotel itself, guests can relax at the spa, take afternoon tea overlooking Table Mountain, sip Champagne on the roof, swim in the glass rooftop pool or work off the city’s fine dining in the gym.
