This morning, embark on an expert-led small-group walking tour and uncover the rich story of Brisbane while exploring its must-see attractions. Perfect for first-time visitors, locals, and those eager to delve deeper into the city’s history, culture, and First Nations heritage, this tour offers a captivating introduction to Brisbane.
Starting at the top of Queen Street, you’ll learn about the city’s British colonization and its profound impact on the original inhabitants, the Turrbal and Jagera peoples. As you weave through the city, your guide will share diverse perspectives on Brisbane’s evolution—from its harsh beginnings as a penal colony to its colorful political figures and its dynamic transformation in the lead-up to the 2032 Olympics.

9th December
North Stradbroke Island Tour
This morning, your private guide will meet you and escort you on a full-day adventure to North Stradbroke Island. You’ll begin with a scenic shared ferry ride to the island, where your first stop will be the tranquil Brown Lake. En route, your guide will share fascinating insights into the island’s history and the cultural significance of the Quandamooka People. Refresh yourself in the crystal-clear waters of this stunning lake.
Next, you’ll travel through Myora Springs to the northwest side of the island, a prime lookout spot for stunning views and a peaceful walk along Cylinder Beach. From here, embark on the Gorge Walk, a 40-45 minute trek offering incredible vistas of the Coral Sea and South Pacific Ocean. Keep an eye out for wildlife, as this area is known for sightings of manta rays, turtles, dolphins, and more.
After the walk, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch at Point Lookout, where you can savor a picnic with breathtaking views.
In the afternoon, unwind on the sandy shores of Amity Point. Your guide will lead you on a walk to spot koalas in the wild, providing a unique opportunity to see these iconic creatures in their natural habitat.
