ITINERARY
Day 1

Melbourne arrival
On arrival at Melbourne International Airport, you will be met by a representative of Southern Crossings who will transfer you by private vehicle to your accommodation.

Day 2

Day Tour
Today you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for a full day tour of Melbourne's vibrant urban culture. When it comes to vibrant city life, Melbourne is unparalleled, but the fun doesn't stop at the city limits. Wander the lanes, explore the boroughs, drive through rolling hills and native eucalyptus forests, sample stunning local wines and farm gate produce, cuddle a koala, dip your toes in The Southern Ocean - all in a day.
Enjoy a tour of inner Melbourne, taking time to get orientated both geographically and historically. Wander a labyrinth of vibrant lanes and gorgeous Victorian arcades. Beyond the inner city, local boroughs are something of a playground for those with the insight to properly explore and enjoy them. Have the opportunity to meet with passionate local business people, artisans and neighbourhood characters. Take a short scenic drive to the Mornington Peninsula, one of Australia’s only coastal wine regions. The region is renowned for farm-to-plate experiences at restaurants and cellar doors. Stop to enjoy a delicious lunch, nestled among rolling hills and sprawling vineyards. Weather permitting; this can be enjoyed among the vines in your own private picnic setting.
Following lunch, spend the afternoon on a coastal walking trail or with kangaroos and koalas at a local wildlife sanctuary, or sampling local wine and cheese with the makers… the choice is yours!
On conclusion of the tour you will be transferred to your accommodation at approximately 6:00pm.

Day 3

Uluru arrival
Today you will be met at your accommodation by your private driver and vehicle and transferred to Melbourne Airport for your onward flight.
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be met by a representative of Longitude 131° who will transfer you to your accommodation.
During your stay at Longitude 131°, touring options specified below are available, but do not always operate daily. The Lodge will confirm your programme on arrival.

Day 5

Daintree Rainforest arrival
Today you will be met at your accommodation by a representative of Longitude 131° and transferred to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight.
On arrival at Cairns Airport you will be met by your private driver and vehicle and transferred to your accommodation in the Daintree Rainforest (approximately a 1 hour and 30 minute journey).

Day 6

Mossman Gorge and River adventure day
This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for your Mossman Gorge and River adventure day.
Please note: For you tour today, please wear shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain, a hat,
sunglasses & long sleeved sun shirt. For the river drift experience part of the tour, guests require a 'medium' level of fitness and are given a wetsuit and river sled. Please wear your swimming costume underneath your clothes to later change into a wetsuit and bring a towel.
Driving north, your guide will highlight the sugar cane industry, provide informative local history and identify the plethora of birdlife along the way. Beginning the day at Mossman Gorge with a traditional Kuku Yalanji smoking ceremony, you’ll be cleansed of bad spirits and have traditional rainforest body paint applied. Exploring the Daintree National Park at an easy pace, this interpretive 1.5hr walk, will leave you with a deeper understanding of this breath-taking rainforest.
Enjoy lunch before heading towards the Mossman River for a unique river drift experience on the Mossman River. A stunning section of water that begins as a highland stream 1300 metres above sea level, the Mossman River runs for 30 kilometres to the Coral Sea, while accumulating water from the 140-million-year old rainforest, it travels through on its way down.
Next is your River Drift adventure, beginning with an interpretive river walk, where the shallow or dry riverbed serves as your path upstream, completely enveloped by the rainforest. This unique journey allows you to explore the river's course on foot, surrounded by rainforest, before transitioning to a different section of the river for the next phase of your adventure. Here, equipped with river sleds, you will experience the varied pace of the river's flow. Glide through calm waters under a lush canopy, then feel the exhilaration of navigating faster currents.
On conclusion of the tour you will be transferred to your accommodation by approximately 5:30pm.

Day 7

Hamilton Island arrival
Today you will be met at your accommodation by your private driver and vehicle and transferred to Cairns Airport (approximately a 1 hour and 30 minute journey) for your onward flight.
On arrival at Hamilton Island Airport you will be met by a representative of qualia and escorted to your accommodation.
Hamilton Island is situated in the heart of the Whitsundays and is one of 74 tropical islands that lie between the Queensland Coast and the Great Barrier Reef. Over 80 per cent of Hamilton Island has been carefully preserved in its natural state so that visitors can continue to enjoy the pristine beauty of the island's fabulous beaches, unspoilt nature trails and secluded hideaways.

Day 8

Best of Both Worlds tour
Today you will be met by your pilot-guide for a small group half day Best of Both Worlds tour.
Please note: Bring swimwear and towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat and a camera.
Experience the Great Barrier Reef from both above and below sea level and indulge in this ultimate reef experience with the best of Reefworld and Whitehaven Beach in one unforgettable day. Depart on a spectacular scenic helicopter flight to the Reefworld Pontoon where you have two hours to enjoy a great range of activities including snorkelling (equipment provided) and coral viewing from a semi-submersible or the spectacular underwater viewing chamber. This Great Barrier Reef adventure is followed by a relaxing one hour visit to Whitehaven Beach - the perfect location to enjoy sparkling wine or water and recline in the crystal clear waters with turtles and rays before returning to your accommodation.

Day 11

Day tour
This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for a full day
sightseeing tour of Sydney. This unique day is the ultimate way to experience the beauty of Sydney. Enjoy a drive around the historic Rocks precinct, visiting the Observatory Hill and the convict built cottages, the first church in Australia, continuing around Circular Quay, the Opera House and onto Mrs Macquarie’s Chair situated on the water’s edge, to enjoy magnificent views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Travel through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross, where the nightlife is legendary, and into Rushcutters bay. Enjoy lunch at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Australia’s premier yacht club and home of the
famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht race. Then continue your tour around the scenic harbour foreshores and see some of Sydney’s most sought after addresses. Pass by Double Bay, Rose Bay and Vaucluse before arriving at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. Here you will have some time to soak up the atmosphere of this beachside Mecca. Stroll down the esplanade with the locals and maybe enjoy an ice cream before re-boarding your vehicle. Return to the city, via Oxford Street and Paddington, arriving at Darling Harbour where your private yacht awaits for a cruise around Sydney Harbour. After an incredible 2 hours on the world’s most
beautiful harbour you can make your own way back to your accommodation.

Blue Mountains
This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for a full tour to World Heritage Region, the Blue Mountains.
Travel through the historic Rocks precinct before commencing your journey north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to Australia’s favourite marsupials, where you will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, wombats and many other unique Australian animals and birds. This unique park is home to over three hundred different varieties of unique Australian wildlife set within beautiful native plants and trees. Continuing your journey to the Blue Mountains National Park, you will enter a little-known hidden clearing to unlock a piece of Australia you would never have known existed. Enjoy morning tea in a secluded valley, where you may see kangaroos grazing in the wild. Visit a number of scenic lookouts,
including Kings Tableland with its breathtaking views over the Jamison Valley. See firsthand the ruggedness and beauty that the Blue Mountains are famous for.
Enjoy lunch of local cuisine in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Then join your hiking guide for an informative 1.5-hour hike to the famous Three Sisters rock formation. Passing through three different eco systems, your guide will share their knowledge of the incredible geology of the Blue Mountains and
how they were formed, also introducing you to the unique flora and fauna of this world heritage listed area. On conclusion of the walk re-board your vehicle, sit back and relax during your journey back through Sydney’s western suburbs and across the ANZAC Bridge, arriving at your accommodation at
approximately 5:00pm.
